“Cool you down was our first track to feature on a compact disc - CD wow! and followed the release of our debut 'Haze' cassette in 1992. We loved being part of the vibrant indie scene in Brisbane and we were invited by a group of like-minded Brisbane bands to contribute to a compilation aptly named Spark.

We were stoked that Cool You Down was the opening track on the compilation. Penned by our original drummer Michelle, Cool You Down was written in response to the 1991 Strathfield (Sydney) shopping mall shooting where 8 people tragically lost their lives. This track epitomises our pop sensibility, trademark fuzzy guitars and vocal harmonies and also was our first film clip - shot in iconic Highgate Hill and New Farm - around the areas we lived. Despite being a ripper song and recording, it was only ever released on the Spark compilation which had limited release in 1993 by Yellow Music through MDS.”
