“Sunday Morning was recorded during the second of many sessions we did at the original Birdland Studios in Chapel Street Prahran between 1995 and ‘98.
This song never made it to any of our releases and I’d forgotten it even existed until Scotty from Sound as Ever found it on an old cassette I’d given him in the early 2000’s, when we were putting the Jericho retrospective compilation together.
It’s a pretty rough recording and the songwriting is decidedly embryonic, yet somehow it seems to capture the era well. I’m glad it’s finally found its place on this compilation.”
