“Nice Drive was part of a recording session for the ‘Cassette Mini Album’, recorded over two nights in Studio B at Damien Gerard Studio in Ultimo, Sydney. The Mini Album was produced on Cassette only, issued as part of the entry fee to a show headlined by The Tristan Chord at The Annandale Hotel in Sydney, and was otherwise never released or mastered for Digital reproduction. The body of work was intended to represent the live essence of the band with a much more ‘dry’ and immediate sound than the previous recording, the Freefall EP; a sprawling, languid ambient CD released 1 year prior.”
