Caught was a song we recorded in demo form a couple of times. We played it live for years but it never made it onto a record. It was that shirt you like, but inexplicably don’t wear. Perhaps it's because Caught is a straight-ahead power pop song - by the time we recorded it here (in the demo for our second LP Watermelon Man) we were wanting to branch out into new sonic areas and already had enough power pop for the album. The song is one of those 'being in your twenties' songs - the emotional grey areas in relationships.
