about

We recorded an entire, still unreleased, LP with Wayne who is as great as the stories go. The studio being Tim Finn’s house studio was full of character & rightly had a pianola that played Six Months in a Leaky Boat. Why didn’t we release the LP? I think at the time we were both happy but not happy enough with elements of what we’d done. Some things felt incomplete in our delivery so on the shelf it went. Gosh, a lot of hard work to make but I still think it was the right decision at the time. What’s the song about? It’s primarily about misogyny & sadness. As a male we are both complicit and can strive for better & none of us get out without demerits despite intentions.
